The Eureka Lead was one of the richest goldfield in the world and the site of "Eureka", a civil battle between the population of the Ballarat East Diggings and Victorian government forces on 3 December 1854. This book gives an overview of Eureka, the agitation leading to the uprising, Ballarat Reform League, and the battle.
